About Canyon Lake, CA 

Canyon Lake is a city in Riverside County, California. It’s a very unique place to live, as it’s a gated community with more than 10 000 residents. At the centre of the community is the Canyon Lake reservoir.

Residents have access to the reservoir for recreational purposes, and are allowed to use fishing boats, sailboats and more on it, and can indulge in activities in water-skiing and wake-boarding.

Canyon Lake is a very safe place to live, as it has 24-hour security at the gates. It’s a very Republican city, and in 2006 it was the subject of a BBC documentary called “United Gates of America” about gated communities in the United States.

Plenty of parks and beaches are spread out in the community, and there’s a beautiful golf course too. Summers are dry and hot and winters are mild and sunny. It barely ever rains, but when it does the reservoir provides water to nearby groves and vineyards.
